- BHP Billiton Nickel West: Employee Engagement (EVP) Project. Negotiated and conducted 33 Focus Group sessions across all sites to determine current views and improvement strategies needed to boost engagement and retention rates. Cited by Vice President of HR has ‘the best project spend of the year’. Their largest site reduced its retention rate from 39% to 7% in 6 months as a direct result.
- BHP Billiton Nickel West/WMC Resources: Negotiated and Facilitated a personally tailored weekend Leadership Development retreat for then CEO, Directors & Corporate Executives in order to secure ‘buy in’ to the roll out of a tailored 3-day Leadership Development program (Investment In Excellence) to 1,700 managers and staff across most mine sites nationally.
- Wesfarmers – Negotiated, designed and lead a Leadership Development program roll-out provided to most senior managers across all their divisions.
- Bunnings – Negotiated, designed and implemented a People Capability Development Program and also their Induction Program on a national basis for Bunnings Building Supplies which is still being used today.
- iiNet experienced a noticeable improvement in their performance and culture within first 6 months of Brian’s Continuous Improvement Project commencement.
- Chevron/CKJV – Manage and also conduct 2-day Leadership Development programs, Incident and Injury Free (IIF) ‘Safety Attitude Programs’ and 2-day project safety inductions for all leaders and senior contractors on the Gorgon Project.
- Goldfields Ltd: Negotiated, tailored and implemented the workforce Safety Training Program that resulted in RGC/Goldfields winning the first ever “International 5 STAR Mine site Safety Award” won by an Australian mining company. (They then proceeded to win it 5 years in a row)
- Goldfields Ltd: Negotiated, Tailored and implemented the successful “Investing in Excellence” Workforce and subsequent Community Development Program for Renison Bell – Zeehan, Tasmania. This iconic project was featured on both “60 Minutes” and “The Best Of 60 Minutes”.
- Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines ‘Kalgoorlie Super Pit’: Negotiate, Design and facilitate Strategic Planning sessions and leadership development program for senior management group used to set tonnage and processing goals for next 3 years
- Coles Supermarkets – Negotiated, designed and lead the implementation of a national “Leadership, & Performance Development program” for 3500 Cole’s Supermarkets managers Australia-wide.
- Coles Supermarkets – Facilitated all the leadership team launch seminars (3days+2days) for 350 of Cole’s senior managers in all states in order to secure a strong commitment to the broader roll-out. Received Cole’s “highest ever seen” rating with an average of 9 out of 10. (Full reviews available)
- Coles Supermarkets – Negotiated and initiated the use of Coles first Visual Graphic Plan called “The Cole’s Journey” This was used by the CEO and executive team on our joint national road show launch to communicate and secure company-wide “buy in” from all managers and all 55,000 of their staff to the new strategic plan. - Nilsen Electrical. Negotiated, designed and facilitated ‘Speak out for Safety’ sessions to all 350 staff with immediate improvements in safety statistics recorded.
- WA Liberal Party – Designed & conducted Professional Development Programs for several WA Liberal Government Ministers (Including two Premiers) plus a number of State Government Agency CEO’s and in some cases all of their staff. Also conducted a one day ‘Building a Vision for WA’ session with all 33 members known as ‘The Vines Initiative’ in order to build a focussed cohesion.
- Certified Practising Accountants (CPA’s) – Invited to deliver keynote addresses to a number of states CPA Conferences for 9 consecutive years, primarily due to consistent ratings of over 9 out of 10. (Reviews available – refer attachment 3)
